new beginnings

We had a quiet new year, which we loved.
It was lazy. Even too lazy to crack open the fancy champagne on New Year's Eve. We just enjoyed and took in our being together, us four, and spent it like a normal day.

Michael and i have reflected on a few things - the lessons we've learned from mistakes we've made, and appreciated the friends who stood by us when push comes to shove. Also assessed how far we've come, as a couple, as parents, and as business partners.

We are still working on our 2012 goals, big and small.

I am excited to explore new roads together and look forward to what this year will show and teach us.
